TheraJect, Inc. is an early-stage company developing the
TheraJect Drug Micro-Needle Array Transdermal Delivery
System (DrugMAT), and the TheraJect Vaccine
Micro-Needle Array Transdermal Delivery System
(VaxMAT). Currently marketed transdermal drug delivery
patch systems cannot deliver large molecules such as
proteins and vaccines. DrugMATs and VaxMATs can deliver
many drugs and vaccines -- particularly large molecules
such as proteins and genetic material, and difficult to
rapidly deliver small molecules such as pain-related drugs
--- safely and painlessly through the skin with an elegantly
simple and inexpensive proprietary technology.
Developing this painless and efficient transdermal delivery
technology will both expand the portfolio of large molecules
that can newly and profitably be developed, and it will also
enable product differentiation and patent extension for
existing molecules, large and small.
TheraJect will create value and revenue by
developing and broadly licensing technology to
vaccine, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical
device, manufacturing, and service provider
companies.
